Open Architecture - Data Integration
Data Integration is our suite of technologies designed to alleviate the typical pain points with importing, exporting, and interfacing with other systems. Our powerful and versatile tools are about giving you the capability to interface with other systems without the need to lean on technical development help. You are able to create the import routines to automate pulling/receiving data from other systems transforming it into out system. Likewise you can automate pushing data to other systems or calling their API's all from one suite of tools.
Data Integration Features
Our Data Integration suite of tools provide you the power to ensure the LemonEdge platform integrates into your eco-system seamlessly.
The Data Integration suite of tools consists of the following set of functionality:
- Data Mappings:
Data Mappings provides the ability to specify a format to use when parsing the 3rd party source of data. This includes rules and formulas you can use to transform that data as you import it. - Data Sources Search:
Data Sources Search allows you to search across all your data in the system using Data Source unique IDs you have setup for 3rd party systems you interface with. - Import Definitions:
Providing more than just the ability to import a single file, Import Definitions allow you to define a sequence of steps the system can move through while importing to ensure you can import multiple sets of data across multiple data sources. This can automate uploading an entire system into LemonEdge as well as providing powerful functionality that can be re-purposed to other problem domains such as automating your testing of new versions. - Export Template:
Provides a mechanism for getting the standard templates from the system for importing data. If you don't use a standard template, you can configure your own, or use data mappings to parse any file into a state the system can import it. - Import:
Our set of importing routines are about maximising the options you have to import the data the way you require. It's not just a single import function, instead it's split into Server (for large data sets) or Client (for small testing data sets where you can visibly see the impact) importing routines that can perform Validation Only, Sequential, Batch and Parallel importing.
Typical importing pain points are a massive cost of implementation projects and are addressed by our suite of tools above. All of this functionality should significantly accelerate your data integration processes and ability to test those routines.
Lastly our Canvas [more info] technology is also available as another dimension to aid in your importing processes. You can always import into a canvas and ditch the entire thing if it doesn't behave as expected.
