Default Watchers
Default Watchers are used to automatically assign certain Users/Roles/Teams as Watchers against newly created items of a specific type.
Default Watcher Features
Default Watchers enable you to configure Watchers to automatically be created along with certain types of new items.
The created Watchers are configured with the following options:
- A specified Watcher Type
- Automatically associated with the specified Entity Type
- Watchers are associated with a specified User, Role or Team
This provides a very easy mechanism to setup parts of workflow, and notifications in the system by ensuring certain Users will automatically be setup as Watchers against records they care about. Using the Triggers functionality the system can be configured so those watchers are automatically notified when certain conditions are met.
