Allocation Path View
Allocation Paths allow you to specify as many different unique paths through an entity structure to allocate to the ultimate beneficiary owners. You can create as many different paths as you require, and Transactions can be statically or dynamically linked to Paths however you like.
Allocation Path Features
An Allocation Path always belongs to an Entity Set, and dictates a unique path through the entities within the structure of that Entity Set to the ultimate owners. You can create as many Allocation Paths as you like.
Allocation Paths are used as one method to allocate Transactions to their ultimate owners. You can statically link a Transaction to a Path indicating that it must be allocated that way. Alternatively you can use our Allocation Mapping technology and allow the system to dynamically link Transactions to their appropriate paths whenever they are needed. This provides for a much more flexible and useful approach to managing your allocations through a structure.
