Allocation Rule View
Allocation Rules allow you specify allocations to individual entities and the proportion in which they should each be allocated to. You can create as many different allocation rules against an entity as you require.
Allocation Rule Features
Allocation Rules allow for multiple different allocations to be created against entities. These allocation rules can be used individually as is when creating transactions. By selecting an allocation rule for a transaction against an entity, you are simply stating the Transaction will be allocated to those owning entities in the rule proportionally according to their allocations.
Note
In the case of captive owning entites this can just be one allocation of 100% indicating the transaction is allocated 100% to the owner.
Otherwise the rule can be used in a transaction to indicate how the transaction amounts are to be divided up by the interested owning parties. This can happen as part of the transaction if using an Allocation Rule directly, or automatically if using Allocation Paths or our Allocation Mappings.
