Capital Account Data Items View

The Capital Account Data Items view shows the raw data of all the automatically generated entries from this Period End calculation. This can also show any manual adjustments.

Capital Account Data Items Features

The Capital Account Data Item view directly shows all entries in the table calculated from the Period End process. This data can be reported on as is for this period, or you can utilise our GL Rollup functionality to report on it in a hierarchical manner - the source data is the same regardless.

The view itself shows different data depending on its context:

  1. Against a Period End itself this shows all Capital Account Data Items that were automatically generated by the calculation process itself
  2. Against a Period End Adjustment View within a Period End process the view is only showing the manually entered adjustments to Capital Account Data Items.

Capital Account Data Item Properties

The Capital Account Data Item View has the following properties:

Name Description
Type The type of Capital Account Data Item entry:
  • Period End
  • Opening Balance
  • Transfer In
  • Transfer Out
  • Adjustment
  • Opening Balance Transfer In
  • Opening Balance Transfer Out
Root Entity The Root Entity these GL Postings are allocated to ultimate owners through.
Entity Set Entity The actual legal entity within the entity set these GL Postings entries were against.
Entity The ultimate owning Entity this GL Posting amount was allocated to directly or through an Allocation Path
Ledger The Ledger this GL Posting amount was booked to
Transaction Type Value The Transaction Type Value (if any) this GL Amount was automatically populated from
Instrument The Instrument (if any) for the Transaction this GL Posting was booked against
GL Account The GL Account this amount (In reporting currency) debited or credited
Amount The debit/credit amount in total for this gl account
Is Rounding Represents if this amount was added by the calculation for rounding purposes
