    Transfer Targets

The Transfer Targets View is responsible for specifying which ultimate owning entities will be receiving the transferred transactions, gl postings and allocations from the Source Entity. You can have more than one Target Entity and you can specify they percent they all receive between them.

    Transfer Targets Features

A Transfer operation transfers amounts and allocations from one ultimate owning Entity to one, or more, other ultimate owning Entities. This allows you to choose the Entities that receive the amounts from the Source Entity, and also in what proportions they should receive that if there is more than one Target Entity.

    Rounding

If you are Transferring from one Entity to another single target Entity, the operation is simple and 100% of everything moved off the Source Entity is provided to the Target.

If you are transferring to multiple Target Entities it is perfectly possible that the amounts can't be precisely transferred due to rounding, and one of the Target entities will need to take all those rounding differences to ensure the full amount is actually transferred off the Source Entity.

    Transfer Target Properties

Transfer Targets have the following properties:

    Name Description
    [Required]
    [Key]
    Entity
The Target Entity that will receive a portion of the Source Entities amounts from the Transfer
Target Transfer Percent The percentage of the Source Entity transferred amounts that the specified Entity receives from them
This is only needed when the amount of Transfer Targets are greater than one. If not 100% is given to that one Transfer Target.
Is Rounding Entity If there is more than one Rounding Entity this specifies which one should receive all the rounding amounts.
Only one Transfer Target can be marked as the rounding entity.
