Roles View
The Roles view allows you to specify the basic details about roles, which provide the menu and customisation behaviors in the solution.
Role Properties

A unique user friendly name for this role. |
| Description | A user friendly description of the purpose for this role |
| Role Help URL | If you have created a custom role with specific functionality, you can provide a help url to ensure users can get access to a help guide through how to use the role. |
| Is System | Indicates this is one of the two system provided roles - Admin and Standard User. |
Commands
Note
A Role has the standard set of commands and functions when being viewed from a grid. See our standard grid functionality.
Tip
Roles can be exported and imported as packaged xml files to transfer configuration across systems. Again this is available from the grid commands.
