GL Accounts With Classifications View

The GL Accounts With Classifications view provides an overview of all GL Accounts in the system, and their associated names for each GL Classification setup in the system too.

GL Accounts With Classifications Properties

GL Accounts With Classifications have the following properties:

Name Description

Name		 The unique name of this account
[Required]
[Key]
Code		 The unique code for this account
Type The type of this account:
  • BalanceSheet
  • ProfitLoss
  • RetainedEarnings

Not used in any Transaction processing, purely notional for reporting.
Natural Balance The natural balance of this account:
  • Debit
  • Credit

Not used in any Transaction processing, purely notional for reporting.
GL Classification Name... For each GL Classification in the system, this grid creates a column allowing the selection of a GL Classification Name for the GL Classification for each GL Account.

Tip

GL Accounts can be exported and imported as packaged xml files to transfer configuration across systems. Again this is available from the standards grid commands.
