Documents
The Documents is a tool window [more info] which allows you to view and configure the current documents against any given item. This integrates with the workflow by providing document trails for processes and items as teams progress through various steps.
Document Features
Documents allow you to work against the current active item, or any grid selected item with the standard Selection View for Tool Windows, and see at a glance all documents for those items or processes.
Tip
Documents have their own permissions that can be separate from the item they are against.
Note
Thanks to our comprehensive auditing they retain all previous versions as you make changes to the document.
